Cheshire Community Voice (CCV) is an independent voluntary organisation and a registered charity. Our main aim is to promote meaningful participation of individuals, service users, carers and their families residing in Cheshire to inform and influence the Health & Social Care Agenda.
CCV considers issues relating to all aspects of health and social care and has a particular interest in promoting the interests and involvement of groups of people who because of difficulties and health issues feel marginalised and excluded. We promote participation across a diverse range of the population from Children, Young People and their Families, Older People, individuals with Learning Disabilities, Mental Health related issues and Physical Disabilities. We operate a policy of equality and diversity and promote social inclusion in all aspects of our work.
Working alongside partner agencies with a solution focused approach, CCV engages in all aspects of consultation and participation. In particular we aim to build capacity amongst community members offering training and support along the way. Our objective is to influence the planning of services from the point of design to the commissioning stage through to final delivery.
